"Who are you" has always been a loaded question for me, but I will try my best to play along here so to speak. Collectively, you may call me Mags or Khimera. I'm currently 24 years old and use they/them pronouns. You might see me utilize it/its on occasion, but these pronouns are personal and self-referential only.
If I had to describe my personality it would probably be that of a skittish animal. Under the right circumstances, I can surprise you with my capacity for passion and love, but I can only be enjoyed in bursts. Inevitably, I need space to recharge and you may not hear from me for a bit. If you can put up with this flightiness, I've been told I am a "good person to know".
I have many interests, some lifelong, some that come and go. Interests I consider foundational to knowing me are storytelling/worldbuilding (With emphasis on my own paracosm, it has saved my life after all), parasites, speculative biology, and OFF by Mortis Ghost. If you poke around, perhaps you can find mention of some of my more casual interests.
I am generally private about such things, but here is better than anywhere to note that this is a shared space between a dissociative system*. With that in mind, page design, tone, and typing styles may vary. If any headmate would like to reveal themselves by name or denote their own section of the website then they may do so at their discretion, but otherwise information on who's fronting is not something we like to announce and instead "I" is often used loosely.
Perhaps by now you may have put together the significance of the chimera. We are a system of animals, and this truth colors our reality, so it will be referenced. The pagedoll on the home page is how we depict our shared external body, while internally, we each conceptualize ourselves in a unique way (There are pretty blatant hints on this page about that!).
I believe that's the long and short of it. Please be patient with me, matters of identity are...strange to navigate and I don't enjoy feeling beholden to any one thing, so everything that's shared is always subject to change!

Systemhood for us is like a mycorrhizal network: Individuals joined together by the "roots" of a shared body, but still whole on their own. There is no core and we aren't just facets of a singular identity and it builds resentment when this is assumed. Others with DID may philosophize it differently, but our individuality is just as important for us to acknowledge as our togetherness.
