Broadly speaking, I am a chimera. I gave up the painful process of trying to narrow myself down to one state of being, because all of them make me who I am! Getting into specifics, I affectionately refer to myself as a helmyth, AKA a parasitic wyrm. (I hope you appreciate the pun, I'm pretty proud of it...) Being a parasite is a HUGE aspect of my collective identity, it is not an offensive label to me and I will be a bit sad if you use it negatively in my presence. I suppose you could think of "chimera" and "helmyth" as my genus and species respectively!

Because of my inconsistant behavior, I am someone that can take a lot of time to get close to. Some may even find the effort a drain, but I deserve love anyways! When I feel comfortable, I'm pretty ride-or-die, and I'll latch on to you for as long as you'll have me, though, I may not be the best match for someone with high social expectations. I care for my friends and if you need help I will be there for you to the best of my ability, but I am a tamed animal- conditioned to make space for humans in my heart, but forever wild in the mind. To know me means accepting that for both our sakes, there are days that I can only be loved from a distance.

Making this next part brief, but since it will be casually mentioned within the site's blog and is an important piece of the puzzle that is me, this is a shared space between a dissociative system. Please be respectful! For the sake of fairness and convenience, a collective identity is utilized and "I" is often defaulted to, albeit loosely, but make no mistake, there are multiple animals under the hood and all of us have a hand in running things around here!*
