Artist Statement

As an animal that has felt othered by humanity, Khimera utilises nonhuman subjects to explore the human condition in a way that feels familiar to them. Its stories typically contain its own abstracted experiences and it is through them that they may gently reach out to others while also maintaining a safe distance.
