In Your Name

This was a very ambitious side comic considering it's for characters I hadn't acquainted much with the public at the time...I had a lot of fun. Aelius (the priest) and Solem are in a committed relationship with one another, and well, when your partner is also the god that you worship, I'd imagine that it's easy to get tunnel vision. Aelius feels like Solem is the only one deserving of his humanity, but good intentions aside, it's hurtful when your partner doesn't engage with your art, so a talk was in order.

 Lot's of fun details in this one!

• "You're no fun when you grey rock me Aelius!" implies that this is something that has occurred often enough for Solem to comment on. Just like an artist, Solem can not directly interact with their art due to existing on different planes of reality so they must use...self-inserts (possessing random anim creatures that tickle their fancy) to simplify their form enough to do so. They like bothering Aelius when they visit sometimes :)

• Once Solem reveals themself, Aelius immediately averts his eyes. It's ill-advised to stare directly at the sun.

• The ring on Aelius's finger is a promise ring from Solem.
